Storystone Journal: How Do You Do?

Welcome to Storystone Journal

I am Debra Anne Wintsmith, author of Church School Blues; Precious Jewels, A Seventh-Day Adventist Family Saga, Fireflies, Carolina Mourning Dove, and Maggie Boo.

I have also had short stories and articles published in commercial publications ranging from religious (Insight, Insight/Out and Guide Magazine--now available as a collection of short stories under the title The Jesus, Jesus Picture and Other Stories) to secular (Cat Fancy and Modern Romances.)

This is my journal where I talk about writing from life. There is the joy of the hunt for documentation of the facts, and the indescribable ecstasy of discovering a fact believed to have been lost to time. There is the challenge of deciding how much of the truth to tell, as well as how to shape the truth that is told.

Part detective, part visionary, I am the Keeper of the Stories. I write them down for those who remember, and for those who will come after.
